In 2017 the ENSURE project team based in the UK provided specialist support and reports on both the Geology and Geophysics (G&G) as well as Environmental (EMS/ESIA ESG/CSR) issues for an Oil and Gas Company that had been invited to bid for offshore blocks in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Working closely with specialist partners both in country and the UK, Ensure provided technical support as the bid opportunities were explored and the technical requirement of the Bid Round assessed.
The program of works included:
· A comprehensive assessment of existing G&G information for available Bid Round Blocks and existing discoveries;
· Comparison of the available blocks and features against the base information for existing and recent discoveries in the Eastern Mediterranean region;
· Identification of possible JV and Farm In partners who could meet the Development requirements of the Bid Round;
· Input to the development of Bid Round proposals to both Internal and External stakeholders and potential Investors;
Consideration of routes to market and full life cycle costs from Exploration to Production.
